Thank you once again to everyone who took the time to enter their beautiful garden photos in our competition. After much deliberation and input from Flower Power staff, Helen Frede of Warrimoo, NSW was chosen as the winner for this issue. Helen has won a $100 Flower Power gift voucher with her loverly image of a bleeding heart flower (Dicentra spectabilis) "I took this photo last spring. This is one of my all time favourite flowers." Helen tells us.

To all those members who joined the group at the annual tour of the Arborglen wholesale growing nursery on Sunday 20 July, we say thanks. As usual, it was a great day, with upwards of 500 members and their guests gaining a first hand impression of the work behind the scenes in bringing literally millions of plants to market.

The tour was great, lunch was appetising and enjoyed by all. A few guests took home some wonderful prizes. And lots of visitors took advantage of genuine wholesale prices available on the day. The tour is a highlight of the club’s annual calendar, and we urge any members who have not yet been to Arborglen to get in early for next year’s event.
