Add beauty and colour to your garden all year long with the Azalea Alaska. This small, evergreen shrub, produces medium sized, single, snow white, fragrant blooms during spring and spots of flowers during autumn. It is ideal for pots on shady patios, garden beds and as a flowering carpet underneath trees. Whilst most azaleas prefer dappled light or afternoon shade, some will tolerate full sun exposure. Azaleas perform best in acidic soils and for this reason, there is no need to add lime to your soil.

To plant your Azalea, dig the hole twice as wide and as deep as the container. Remove plant from the container and place into the hole so that the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground. Plant in free draining, humus rich soil. Azaleas prefer acidic soil, so do not apply lime. Cultivate soil prior to planting.
Keep soil moist and water well during extended dry periods. Mulch to retain moisture.
Prune this plant after flowering to increase flowering.
