Climbing beans are a robust climbing bean growing to about two metres tall. They produce heavy crops of delicious full flavoured, stringless beans that are easy to grow and perfect for the backyard gardener . Staking or trellising is required once the beans start to shoot up. Try eating them fresh for an added crunch to salads, preserve them in jars for winter they can be boiled, stewed or lightly stir-fried.
