A beautiful hybrid of the much sought after Rex Begonias, the 'Ruby Slippers' variety is a specimen of vibrancy with large, rich ruby-cloured leaves, contrasted with black venation near the leaf centre. It is a stunning display of colour and a great addition to any collection. As with most Begonia types, is likes a brightly lit but protected position with rich soil that is allowed to partially dry out between waterings. A beautiful specimen indoors as a potted plant, you can also create a colourful and lush display by mass planting them in greenhouses, or outdoors in a warmer shaded position in your garden where there is plenty of morning sun.
