Size — 200mm
Growth Width — 9m
Growth Height — 9m
Flower Colour — Orange
Light Requirements — Full sun
Soil Requirements — Well drained soil
Cultivate soil before planting. Dig a hole twice as large as the pot. Place the plant in the hole so that the soil level from the pot, matches that of the garden bed. Water in well.
Water your Bougainvillea thoroughly to ensure that all roots receive water. Between waterings, bring your soil to a visual dryness. If your plant starts to wilt, you know that you have left it without watering for too long. Once established, this is a drought tolerant plant.
Bouganvilleas only bloom on new growth. Prune your plant after flowering to encourage new flowering wood. Pinch out 1/2 inch from the tip of new soft growth to encourage fuller growth and enhance the flowering display.
