A delicious fruit with lovely long trailing vines and dark, reddish-black coloured berries that are a cross between the Thornless Blackberry and a Raspberry. It has a sweet tangy flavour with a distinctive aroma and is very high in vitamin C. It's great eaten fresh off the tree but is most popular for making jams and pies.

Pruning Advice

Top prune in summer to encourage branching and remove the old canes in winter – they fruit on last year’s stems.
