An interesting and exotic fruiting tree, this citrus has large golden fruit that is segmented into long, curved, finger-like sections giving it the appearance of a Buddha's hand. This unique fruit has no flesh inside but has a tough rind that is rich in vitamin C and is used in a variety of cooking methods such as salads, stir fry, and it can be candied as a sweet. It is also used as an ornamental fruit in food displays and table decorations.
