A highly aromatic, evergreen plant that’s related to the ginger family. The pods and the seeds are commonly used as flavourings for savoury and sweet dishes and in tea.
Loves a tropical environment so grow indoors in cooler regions as it makes a great house plant. Every few years lift up the rhizome and divide to give plant more room to grow.
