An old favourite that is resistant to disease and produces long, tapering roots. Do not use fertilisers immediately before, or during the growth period, however, keep the plant well-watered. Perfect eaten fresh, steamed or made into carrot juice.
|Light Requirements — Full sun, Part Shade|
|Soil Requirements — Well drained soil|
Cover seeds with a fine layer of soil and a little mulch, this stops the soil surface from caking and preventing the tiny seedlings from pushing through. Harvest approximately ten weeks after sowing.
