Snap Beans are tender green beans without strings that easily snap into sections. This plant produces high yields of stringless, reasonably small pods, full of flavour that you can cook or freeze whole. Snap beans mature quickly and nearly everyone, even kids enjoy them. You can blanch them in boiling water for one minute then quickly cool them in iced-water to brighten and fix their colour while maintaining the crisp texture of the pods.

Keep the site weed free. Harvest eight to ten weeks from sowing. Pick when tender every four to five days. Spray flowers with water to help pods set.
