This excellent, heavy cropping early variety produces dark purple to black, pear shaped fruits. They have a smooth glossy skin, a close texture and a mild lovely flavour. Harvest 12 to 16 weeks after sowing. Tasty eggplants can be fried, baked, roasted, barbequed, grilled, stewed or used to make dips.
