This variety produces long, green flat pods with brilliant scarlet orange flowers. They're a heavy cropper of excellent quality that can be eaten sliced or steamed. It's a very versatile bean and the pods become tender with a delicious flavour when cooked. The wine pink seeds can also be dried and used as a winter bean. The pretty red flowers are ideal in borders. Suitable for deep-freezing.
