If you’re a frill seeker, you’ll love hardy dianthus. Set against silvery-green foliage, Dianthus Waterloo Sunset has masses of wonderfully perfumed port wine coloured blooms.

With its low-growing foliage and colourful petals, dianthus makes a great feature in a rock garden or at the edge of a garden bed. It also looks striking planted en masse as a groundcover or displayed in pots.

Perfumed flowers last well as cut flowers and with regular deadheading, your dianthus will flower through spring, summer and autumn.
