Calliope is a smaller fruiting, heavy cropping Eggplant with oval shaped fruits that are vibrant purple with white streaks. The plant is a compact variety and is free of spines which makes it a great choice of eggplant for smaller gardens or containers. It s a fairly low maintenance plant and can be fried, baked, roasted, barbequed, grilled, stewed or used in dips.
