The name of this succulent, 'Faucaria', comes from the Latin word 'fauces', meaning animal mouth, because of the appearance of the leaves. It has thick, triangular green leaves with upright teeth in opposite pairs that looks like an animal mouth. Plant this unusual succulent in an arrangement with other succulents and cacti or in a garden bed.
