Kalanchoes love dry areas and are popular succulents. They have thick, deep-green, scalloped leaves with clusters of tiny flowers that bloom on top of their stems. The starry flowers are long lasting and flower in winter to spring. It’s a gorgeous indoor or outdoor plant that is perfect as a feature on its own, or with a collection of other green succulent varieties.

Planting Advice | If your succulent looks like it’s stretching out of its pot it’s a sign it’s not getting enough light. Once this happens it’s hard to get your succulent back to a compact shape. You can try propagating the plant by taking a cutting one to two inches from the plant’s base then placing the cutting in a shady spot and giving it just a little water (make sure it’s not bone dry) to allow it reshoot new growth. |
