Fruit Tree Pollination
Deciduous fruit trees are fantastic, ever-changing plants that give lots more than fruit. They provide welcome shade in summer, let the sun shine through in winter and before developing their fruit will be covered in tiny, gorgeous blossoms.
Most of your favourite fruit varieties can be grown at home. Apples, peaches, pears and plums are very popular - but why not try currants, kiwi fruit, grapes, almonds or hazelnuts?
Most fruit trees require a second tree for cross pollination in order to bear fruit. See below for our pollination guides to find out which trees will work together, which trees will fruit independently and combinations it's worth taking a gamble on!
