Camellia sasanqua Paradise Joan has very showy, red, informal double flowers with golden stamens in their centres. It is one of the earliest sasanquas to flower and flower they're produced over a long period for you to enjoy.

Paradise Joan is ideal as a feature plant or garden border and can also be used  for screens or hedging up to 4 metres. This variety has upright and vigorous growth and plants have an open habit initially, becoming dense with age. Leaves are dark green and glossy.

Sasanqua camellias thrive in slightly acidic soil with several buckets of compost and aged manure dug in before planting. Suitable for sun or shade.
