Camellia sasanqua Paradise Venessa produces white flowers flushed with soft pink margins. The flowers are large semi-doubles with prominent petaloid stamens (stamens with a petal-like appearance).

Paradise Venessa is vigorous, tall and narrow, growing upright to reach a height of 4-5 metres. This makes them ideal for tall hedging or as screening plants.

Sasanqua camellias thrive in slightly acidic soil with several buckets of compost and aged manure dug in before planting.  They grow in light shade but also tolerate full sun.
