The secret to gourmet cooking is fresh ingredients, and what could be fresher than Homegrown? Make this scrumptious Thyme Vinaigrette with just-picked Homegrown herbs.
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, finely chopped
- 3 teaspoons honey
- 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients excluding olive oil, salt and pepper in a bowl and whisk together. Once
combined, slowly add the oil in a steady stream whilst whisking until the vinaigrette becomes emulsified.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Adjust flavour if necessary with vinegar or honey.
Drizzle over fresh salad greens and enjoy!
