Known as the Wax Flower, Chamelaucium is a beautiful native shrub of Western Australia known for its long lasting waxy flowers from winter to spring and aromatic foliage. It makes a wonderful feature shrub in a garden bed, pot or beautiful as a cut flower. My sweet 16 is a gorgeous variety of Chamelaucium that from early spring, blooms masses of pure white flowers open upon a backdrop of fresh, green, fine foliage. These blooms mature to a rich red shade displaying an attractive bi-colour appearance of both white and red blooms and everything in between.
