The 'Citrus Lemonicious' is a compact, easy to grow and maintain, small tree producing very juicy, useful lemons. It’s perfect planted in the ground if you have a smaller garden or want that Mediterranean style. They look quite exquisite, and grow equally well in pots or large containers, positioned on sunny balconies, courtyards or decks where they can be easily moved around during the seasons.
Citrus Lemonicious likes a nice, sunny position in well-drained soil and tolerates frosty, humid and coastal areas. It’s attractive glossy, green leaves and fragrant white flowers that blossom in spring, followed by prolific zesty lemons, make it perfect for cooking, juicing, jellies or preserves.

| Planting Advice | Plant in a sunny, open position in well-drained soil. Dig a hole twice as wide and as deep as the root-ball. Take out the plant from the container and place the plant into the hole so that the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground. Fill in the hole firmly and water it well even if the soil is moist. To keep the tree free of grass and weeds, and to retain moisture, remember to mulch well but keep mulch away from the tree trunk to avoid collar rot. |

| Watering needs | Water regularly during warmer months, when buds appear, it starts flowering or when fruit is forming. Water container specimens every three to four days, and more often in hot weather. Do not water the trunk. |
| Pruning Advice | Prune in late spring with pruning shears to shape the tree and to remove any dying, low hanging branches or leaves from the tree. Take off any suckers at the base of the trunk and on branches to encourage new growth. |
