The Liriope 'Arizona' is a dwarf variety of the hardy perennial favourite. Liriopes produce grass like, glossy, green leaves complemented by flower spikes in shades of purple from early summer through to autumn. It is widely used in landscaping as a groundcover, and is also ideal in borders and pots. It thrives in a partly shaded position in moist, well drained soil. It also tolerates light frost and periods of dryness. This plant responds well to pruning and feeding in winter and you will be rewarded with fresh, lush growth in early spring.
