Add a point of interest to your garden with this evergreen, hardy perennial. The Liriope Royal Purple produces grass like, glossy, dark green leaves and dark purple flower spikes from early summer through to autumn. It is widely used in landscaping as a groundcover, and is also ideal in borders, mass plantings and pots. It thrives in a partly shaded position in moist, well drained soil. It also tolerates light frost and periods of dryness. This plant responds well to pruning and feeding in winter and you will be rewarded with fresh, lush growth in early spring.

Incorporate planting compost such as Active 8, 50:50 with existing soil at time of planting, and water with Harvest once a week for the first 6 weeks. Keep well mulched.
