The Liriope Royal Purple produces grass like, glossy, dark green leaves and dark purple flower spikes from early summer through to autumn. It is widely used in landscaping as a groundcover, and is also ideal in borders, mass plantings and pots. It thrives in a partly shaded position in moist, well drained soil.
