A creeping and fast spreading perennial, Vietnamese Mint is a hardy and vigorous plant that is favoured for its aromatic leaves and uses in cooking. The pointed oval leaves are dark green in colour with a prominent dark horseshoe-shaped mark on each leaf. The plant has an spreading low, shrub-like shape and produces small pink flowers on clustered flower spikes. Suitable in warm climate gardens with shelter from frost and dry periods.
