Grow your own fresh and fragrant Thai basil at home, and enjoy full flavoured dishes every day. These seeds produce a delicious herb with purple green leaves, that can be easily grown in pots or as a decoration for garden edges. This plant is easy to grow, and popular in many Asian dishes for its mild liquorice or aniseed smell and flavour. Plant your seeds in well cultivated, soil in warm conditions and full sun to benefit from a bountiful garden.
|Growth Height — 30cm|
|Soil Requirements — Well drained soil|
For direct sowing into the garden bed, sow in drills and thin to 30cm apart. Basil thrives in a rich, well drained soil and a warm, sheltered position. For potted or indoor growing, sow 0.5cm deep, preferably in separate peat pots to avoid root disturbance. Plant out from late October, spacing 30cm apart. Sow all year round to grow in pots on the windowsill.
