Grow your own fresh and fragrant chives at home, and enjoy full flavoured dishes every day. These seeds produce a delicious herb with attractive pink flowers that can be easily grown in pots or as a decoration for garden edges. This plant is easy to grow, and bares chives with a mild onion flavour that is a popular addition to salads and sauces. Plant your seeds in well cultivated, fertile soil and sun to part shade to benefit from a bountiful garden. To make things easier, seeds are carefully spaced in biodegradable paper to allow even spacing and to eliminate the need for thinning.

|Flower Colour — Pink|
|Soil Requirements — Well drained soil|
Sow bean seeds 25mm (1in) deep in dark, damp soil and avoid watering for a day or two afterwards. Ensure soil has been well prepared with organic compost and well rotted manure. Sow 7-10cm (3-4in) apart, allowing 50cm (20in) between the rows. Plant in 3-5 metre (10-16ft) rows and remove weeds regularly. Water well during dry periods and spray flowers with a fine mist if hot and humid weather persists. Additional fertilising is not required as legumes produce their own nitrogen.
Keep soil moist.
