Our most popular mixture, a dwarf strain which is much better than the older tall types. Ideal for bedding, tubs, window boxes and border edges. A half-hardy annual, flowering the same year. Prefers a sunny position.
Growing tip: Remove dead heads to prolong flowering season. Cut when first buds are opening for indoor arrangements.

Planting Advice | Sow thinly in trays of seed compost. Just cover the seeds with compost, keep moist and maintain a temperature of 15-20C (60-68F). Germination should take 10-14 days, but may be erratic. Thin (prick out) when seedlings have developed 2-4 leaves. Harden off and plant out when seedlings are 5-10cm tall, allowing 25-30cm between plants. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering season. |
