Our most popular mixture, a dwarf strain which is much better than the older tall types. Ideal for bedding, tubs, window boxes and border edges. A half-hardy annual, flowering the same year. Prefers a sunny position.
Growing tip: Remove dead heads to prolong flowering season. Cut when first buds are opening for indoor arrangements.

Sow thinly in trays of seed compost. Just cover the seeds with compost, keep moist and maintain a temperature of 15-20C (60-68F). Germination should take 10-14 days, but may be erratic. Thin (prick out) when seedlings have developed 2-4 leaves. Harden off and plant out when seedlings are 5-10cm tall, allowing 25-30cm between plants. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering season.
