Native, aquatic, perennial, deciduous tuber has small, rounded, wavy, mosaic-like, variegated green and purple leaves on stems up to 3m long with star-shaped, fringed, yellow flowers above the foliage in Summer. Ideal for full sun and part shade in ponds, water bowls and water features. Flowers float on the water surface to a depth of 1m. Edible root. Great for protection and spawning of fish and frogs.
