Also known as 'Gumbo', Okra Red Burgundy is an annual, very ornamental plant with red stems and green leaves producing attractive red pods, which are best harvested when around 7-10cm long. They hold their colour after cooking and are a quick growing variety. Pods can be used fresh or dried, but most commonly used in soups and stews.
