A Tuscan olive with thin green, leathery leaves and a silver underside that produces small cream flowers, followed by green fruits turning purple-black when ripe which are edible once processed. It’s ideal for avenue plantings, coastal locations, driveways, group planting, informal screening or as a feature tree in Mediterranean style gardens. Olives thrive in locations with good drainage, cool winters, hot, dry summers with minimal humidity and prefer a humus rich soil. They can also be espaliered on sunny walls or fences.
