An evergreen tree with striking silver grey-green foliage and masses of creamy white flowers that appear throughout spring and are followed by medium-sized green fruit that changes to red, then black when ripe. It produces a high yielding crop and is ideal for picking and processing, or as an ornamental plant. It can be trained to grow as an espalier or standard and thrives in a sunny position in well-drained soil.
