Native to the Mediterranean, Olive Mission is a hardy tree with silvery, grey-green leaves and a beautiful structured trunk, that produces small oval fruit that start green, and turn black when ripe. Olives are quite drought tolerant, however for good fruit production they still need enough water, although be careful not to over water them. With a dense, evergreen canopy they make a perfect ornamental tree either in the garden or in large pots on courtyards or patios. They are also very useful for screening.
