The Valencia Orange is considered the ‘juicing’ orange and is one of the most popular grown today. This evergreen fast-growing hardy tree produces fragrant creamy-white flowers, followed by a large-sized orange fruit with a tinge of green when ripe. They are juicier than other types of oranges and the longer the fruit is left on the tree the sweeter it will become. Perfect for planting in Mediterranean style gardens. Use for juicing, desserts, preserves or on its own as a healthy snack.
- Protect from strong winds especially during flowering or while fruit is forming.
