Flower Power is a proudly family owned and run chain of garden centres in Sydney. From a single modest nursery, Flower Power has grown to innovate and challenge the industry to become the largest Garden Centre chain in Australia with growing, wholesale, importing, bagging and garden maintenance operations.
Our secret to success is our fantastic team members, and we’re always on the lookout for talented people to join the team.
If you’re a people person, love working outdoors, and have a passion for the lifestyle experience that Flower Power offers, you’d be a perfect fit. You might be a Garden Lover’s Club member, a horticulturalist or be experienced in retail – though while an advantage, experience isn’t always essential!
We have a great range of opportunities available to staff with rewarding roles, the flexibility to combine work and home lives and the chance to work close to home.
We’d love to hear from you! Click the button below and tell us all about you – what store you would like to work at, your experience level and the type of position you are ideally after. We’ll do our best to see what opportunities might be available!
Nathan’s Flower Power career
Nathan Rowe, Retail General Manager
Meet Nathan Rowe, one of many Flower Power staff who have grown a fruitful career with Flower Power.
Nathan kicked off his Flower Power career in 1992, as a green, fresh-faced nursery hand at Flower Power Fairfield.
It wasn’t long before Nathan showed his potential and drive to succeed. In 1994, eager to learn and gain experience, Nathan moved to Flower Power Bass Hill. By the following year was the Landscape Manager at Flower Power Moorebank.
Just four short years after cutting his teeth at Flower Power Moorebank, Nathan was running the store as Store Manager.
Later that year, Nathan stepped into the role of Flower Power Glenhaven Store Manager. In 1998, Nathan was placed in charge of one of Flower Power’s largest stores – Taren Point – once again as Store Manager.
In 2001, Nathan was promoted to Area Manager, placing him in charge of several Flower Power stores. Today, Nathan is the Retail General Manager for the entire Flower Power Group, a role which sees him overseeing all 10 Flower Power stores.
