Miss Muffet is a dwarf variety of Pittosporum with robust oval leaves that are dark glossy green, and it blooms small cream flowers in spring. It is an evergreen shrub with a low and wide growth habit, and responds well to regular pruning, so it is perfect as a low hedge or garden border. Preferring lightly sheltered positions, it can suffer from some leaf burn during hot summer days, so it is best grown in dappled light with rich free-draining soil, and seasonal fertiliser.
