It doesn't take much to grow a potato. In fact it's so easy you'll be wondering why you didn't dig in sooner. This oblong to long-shaped, variety has a white thick skin and a white flesh. It's an all-purpose potato so it's great for both boiling, roasting, mashing and baking.

Planting Advice | Plant two to three weeks before the last frost usually occurs. Ideally planted in produce bags, stacked tyres or vegetable plots to allow mounding of soil or straw as shoots appear. Spread potatoes out in a well-lit warm area for several weeks, until shoots are approximately 1cm long. Tubers can be cut so one or two eyes are evident on each piece, allow pieces to dry before planting. Crop will be ready to harvest after 60 to 90 frost free days after planting. Leaves will begin to die back, lift tubers, dry thoroughly and store in a dark cool place. |
