For standout texture and striking looks, it's hard to go past the Rhipsalis Pilocarpa Hanging Basket. Also known as a hair y-stemmed rhipsalis, its long and skinny green stems begin in an upright fashion before arching and turning downward. In full sun positions, the stems tend to develop a red-purple tinge. White flowers adorn the ends of the stems in spring, followed b y red berries. This plant is perfect for pots and hanging baskets, and is happiest in bright but indirect light indoors or in a partially to fully shaded spot outdoors. As a form of cactus, it is drought-tolerant with extremely minimal care needs - p lant in a very well-draining soil or a succulent and cactus potting mix and water sparingly.
