These hardy soft wooded shrubs have green, lobed, highly scented leaves with clusters of small flowers in pinks, reds, mauves, purples, magenta and white in Winter, Spring and Summer. When bruised the leaves have strong scents ranging from floral to fruity and spicey and can be used to make tea. Ideal in full sun and part shade in garden beds, rock gardens, hedges, mass plantings, borders, window boxes and pots.
