Native to Eastern Australia this is a very hardy fern with attractive and shiny, sickle-shaped foliage. It produces dark green, glossy, broad, heart-shaped pinnae especially when young. This tough fern will tolerate most conditions and is best grown in a moist, shady position in humus rich, free draining soil. A wonderful feature indoors in a pot, perfect for mass plantings outdoors, in a shaded fernery or a covered spot in your garden.
