A large flowering variety of Tillandsia, this plant has abundant thin grey-green leaves growing from a central rosette, and mature plants produce a single, vivid pink flower bract that opens to bright purple blooms. Keep this plant in a warm, humid environment, it enjoys similar treatment to Bromeliads and Air plants. Mature plants will produce pups once the flower bract dies down, creating a clump of bushy new growth.
