A.T.C.S. tree wound dressing has been developed by a tree surgeon who was tired of bitumen based products cracking and allowing fungi, pest and disease to infect trees. This product features a modified, water based, acrylic coating with the ability to expand and contract through heat and cold, thus protecting the tree at all times (for up to 3 or 4 years). When using brushes wash out in water as there are no harmful solvents used in manufacture.

It is also best to treat any fungal or bacterial problems with the appropriate chemical before applying tree wound dressing, as the tree wound dressing is a barrier to prevent further attacks on the wound.
