White Scallop is a summer squash that's shaped like a saucer with a distinctive scalloped edge. It's easy to grow and a prolific cropper, producing small fruit with white skin and flesh that has a mild flavour. It's great fried or baked. Pick fruits when five to ten cm in diameter.

Prefers a rich, well-drained soil and sun. The soil needs to be warm for good germination. A pre-planting fertiliser is recommended. When flowering has begun apply a mixed fertiliser around the base of each plant.
