Nursery Grower, Indoor Plants – Glenorie
Looking for the next step in your career? We’re on the hunt for a Nursery Grower to join the team at Arborglen, our Glenorie-based wholesale production nursery. In this full-time role, you’ll work within the Indoor Plants division of the nursery, nurturing our beautiful plants and giving them the highest level of care until they’re ready for distribution to our retail Garden Centres. You’ll need to be physically fit with a horticulture qualification and at least two years of practical experience in a production nursery to shine in this role. Chemical Applicator/Spray Technician – Glenorie
We’re on the hunt for an experienced and capable Chemical Spray Technician to help us keep our plants in tip-top condition. Based in Glenorie at our 55-acre wholesale production nursery, Arborglen, this full-time, all-weather role will see you utilising both tractors and hand sprayers to treat our plants with a range of pesticides, fungicides, herbicides and growth regulators. If you’re ChemCERT accredited with your own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence, and you have experience and skills in nursery chemical application and record maintenance, we’d love to hear from you.
HC Truck Driver – Glenorie
If you love being out on the open road, we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you! We’re looking for an experienced truck driver to join the team at our Arborglen wholesale production nursery. You’ll spend your days driving through the Sydney Metropolitan and surrounding areas, loading, delivering and unloading trolleys full of plants to a range of locations including our Garden Centres. You’ll need a current HC licence, a recent RMS printout, at least two years’ driving experience and a good working knowledge of the Sydney metro area to succeed in this position. Ready to roll? Diesel Mechanic – Erskine Park
At Flower Power, we own and maintain a vast fleet of vehicles to deliver plants, pots, homewares and landscaping materials all over Sydney. We’re looking for a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis and help keep our vehicle fleet in tip-top condition. You’ll be based at our Erskine Park head office, with regular travel to our stores across greater Sydney to service vehicles including trucks, generators, forklifts and front end loaders. Nursery Manager – Mascot and Enfield
We’re looking for two qualified horticulturists with management experience and top-notch organisational skills to lead the nursery teams at some of our Sydney Garden Centres. One will be based at Enfield in Sydney’s inner west, while the other will be located at Mascot in the eastern suburbs. Nursery Hands & Growers
We’re looking for experienced Nursery Hands and Growers to help raise our next generation of Homegrown plants! Located in picturesque Glenorie, Flower Power’s wholesale production nursery, Arborglen, is one of Sydney’s largest & most diverse. We grow over 6 million plants each year, not only for our Flower Power Garden Centres but also for a broad range of trade and industry customers.
If you’ve got experience in the field, are physically fit and are excited at the prospect of working in the great outdoors, this could be the opportunity for you!
Working hours for these roles are Monday to Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm, on a casual basis initially with a view to permanency for the right candidate. Immediate starts are available, so you can hit the ground running!
