A new spin on an old world plant, the Blue Angel Hosta is luxurious with a velvety blue sheen across its large lush leaves. Hostas grow in a large rounded mound, with leaves that are broad and oval in shape, singular on stems leading back to a central crown. The thick leaves are textured with prominant veins and are complimented in summer with a brilliant show of clustered, funnel-shaped white blooms that stand on stem above the mound of the plant. The lush dark foliage of the Blue Angel Hosta makes it a favourite in shaded home gardens.
