Very hardy low maintenance shrub that grows in a naturally dense, domed habit, requiring little to no pruning when given adequate room. Deep dark purple leaves, that retain their colour throughout the year with masses of slightly sweet scented, frilly,  deeply vibrant pink tassel flowers in spring and autumn and sporadically throughout the year. Ideal for full sun and part shade in garden beds, rock gardens, hedges, as a feature, edging and in pots.
