This native tropical, aquatic fern has green, upright leaves which float on the water surface when plants are submerged to 60cm deep. Flowers in winter, fruits in spring, which is edible and ground into a flour used in indigenous cooking. Very drought tolerant in areas of seasonal flooding and is ideal for full sun and part shade.
