A popular small chilli that originated in South East Asia and is now used all over the world and extensively in Thai and Indian cooking. The chilli grows on compact plants and is a hot, intensely flavoured skinny fruit about 7.5cm (3”) long when mature. Perfect for authentic Asian cooking, stir-fries, salads and curries. The leaves are very small and bushy, so it also makes an excellent ornamental plant that looks very charming in pots.

Planting Advice

Sow in fertile well drained garden soil or pots. Sow 5mm (¼”) deep, thinly and keep moist. Pick regularly to encourage further fruit growth. Harvest as required 12 to 14 weeks after sowing.
