As a family business, the health and safety of both our customers and staff is paramount.
In accordance with the NSW Government’s list of critical businesses issued on 17 July 2021, nurseries are permitted to remain open during the current greater Sydney stay-at-home order. Therefore, our 10 Sydney garden centres remain open for business, with stringent COVID-Safe precautions in place.
WE ARE COVID-SAFE
Flower Power is a registered COVID-Safe Business. We have a COVID safety plan in place and are committed to keeping customers, staff and suppliers safe when they visit any of our 10 garden centres.
CONTACTLESS CLICK AND COLLECT
All 10 Flower Power stores remain open for business as usual, but in light of the recent spike in COVID-19 cases across Sydney, we’re now offering a Contactless Click and Collect service via the landscape yard.
It’s a simple process – after you add your items to your cart and proceed to the checkout, you need to select “Store Pickup” before entering your details. Don’t forget to write “Contactless Click and Collect” in the Delivery Instruction box. One of our team members will be in contact to finalise your order, book in a convenient pick-up time and guide you through the process. Upon arrival at the store, our friendly team will pack your items into your car and arrange payment at a safe distance using a portable EFTPOS terminal.
To help streamline the process, please place your order online with your local store. Our in-store team will contact you to finalise the order as soon as possible.
To keep our staff and customers safe during the current Sydney lockdown, all Flower Power truck deliveries are now contactless. Our delivery drivers will not enter your home or building, delivering instead to the front door or garden. Our drivers will also take photos as proof of delivery, so that you don’t need to sign any paperwork.
Our courier deliveries will continue as normal, however due to higher demand and increased COVID-safe practices there may be slight delays in shipping times.
Our first priority is ensuring the safety of our staff and customers. We are committed to providing a COVID-safe environment in all 10 of our stores, and we ask that when you visit us, you adhere to the following protocol.
- Check in using the Service NSW QR code provided.
- Clean your hands upon entry using the provided hand sanitiser.
- Observe physical distancing at all times when in-store by remaining 1.5m away from others at all times, including while queueing.
- Wear a mask at all times when you are in our store, in line with the current NSW Health mandate, unless you have an exemption.
- Practice respiratory hygiene – cover coughs and sneezes with your elbow or a tissue, and dispose of used tissues immediately in an appropriate manner.
- Pay attention to directional signage and comply with any direction given to you by a Flower Power staff member regarding social distancing.
- Please do not visit if you are feeling unwell, are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, have had any contact with a known case or have otherwise been directed to isolate.
Please note that we also expect our staff to follow these guidelines. We continue to support any staff with any symptoms of COVID-19, who have had contact with a confirmed case or who have otherwise been directed to isolate by NSW Health, to remain at home until they receive medical clearance.
In order to minimise crowding, we have plenty of visible signage and have implemented dedicated in-store Social Distancing Marshals during peak periods. To help further minimise the risk of viral transmission, all benches and amenities are being cleaned and disinfected more regularly, and we’re providing hand sanitiser throughout our stores plus antibacterial trolley and basket wipes at store entrances for your convenience.

If you’d prefer to avoid entering stores at this time, you can place an online order with your local store for either click and collect or home delivery. It’s really simple – select your local store, choose your items and proceed to the checkout to select your preferred delivery method. One of our friendly team members will be in touch as soon as possible to finalise your order.
